Adding a bit of "realness" to a blog or any other type of social media is an important part of keeping people interested and coming back. I personally follow many accounts on Instagram because of their personalities and to know what is going on in their life. It is almost like having a virtual friend who is a stranger to you but is also not. I will definitely include as mush personal touches as I can to my Instagram while keeping Facebook a tad bit less personal. I find that Instagram stories with the person behind the business is such a critical way to have repeat customers. There is definitely some information that should not be shared like your home address or any details that may compromise your identity to someone who may be wanting to to make fraudulent actions or something else like that.

ReplyDeleteI love how you mentioned that you feel as if you have a virtual friend on social media. Its super important for the audience to know who's content their interacting with. Personally I follow many business on social media because I love the content they share. I also love when brands share on their stories because the content on there feels a lot more personal.
